Thanks for sending me the replacement part. as you can see by the attached pictures i needed to use good old duct tape to ensure a good connection. i needed to screw on the flexible hose directly to the thread port on the molded collection attachment. i needed maximum clearance of the saw arm.

This really is a great upgrade over the stock dust collector. Hooked to a good vacuum, it collects over 90 % of the dust from the mitre saw. Highly recommend it

It improves dust collection for thinner stock (3/4-1") but if you cut thicker stock the rubber gasket compresses and it is not as effective. All around a bit of an improvement over the standard Bosch collection

I ordered the Bosch dust collection unit for my brand new miter saw!
Opened the box and noticed the assembly card was for a Dewalt system, and then confirmed the hardware was for a Dewalt system!
Packing slip in the box is for Bosch system!
So definitely a quality control issue! Now I am awaiting on my correct replacement product! Once I receive the correct product, I can provide a better evaluation!

It does what it says. A lot less external saw dust around the saw. And it was fairly easy to install. The best way to have word of mouth about your product, is to have a product do what is claimed and this does!

These work great when you pay attention and clear out all the little off cuts otherwise they can shoot into it and explode it. That's why I got the 2nd one, I just wish they came with a spare set of shorts since I seemed to have soiled the ones I was wearing when I made the first mistake!

It won't fit my saw . My saw is 12" axel guide cordless. I don't know if the cordless model is different then the straight electric model. Anyway the dust chute i got won't fit!

As you can see the photo not 100% capture but much better than Bosch’s attempt. This surprised me because unlike the Dewalt version- which I had on a previous saw which looked completely different than the manufacturer’s collecter, theShopNation unit looked very similar to the Bosch version.

I say it improved it by 70% in that regard it’s ok but I did have to use a longer rubber skirt the space that was left with your did not cover to the deck of the saw so there was no difference but with the longer skirt I’m at 70% better then before

Works well. Only complaint I have was the process of removing one screw and replacing it by the power cord in one go the elbows. It’s really difficult to get to and cut the wire a little bit which isn’t ideal.

Hey Shop Nation, Your dust chute is a brilliantly designed and engineered product. The pic shows literally all of the loose sawdust on my miter saw station after 22 cuts of 1 x 4 cedar. These were the first cuts after installing the chute (which BTW couldn't have been any easier) and I could not be happier. Well done. Keep up the great work and the great videos. Thanks! (Oh yeah, the price was right, too!) I would give this 10 stars. It is easily twice as good as you said it would be.

Installation went very smoothly. Even easier than the video.
I made just two Curt’s after installation. The difference was immediately obvious. So little dust got through.
I have it hooked up to the main dust collection for the workshop and it works fine. Looking at getting a dust vacuum to have a dedicated unit, but that’s got to wait till the 3D printer has been purchased. Thanks Shop Nation for that :(.

You made a quick mention in your installation video that some Bosch saws use thread locker and it might be a bit difficult to get those screws out. You were right about that. Fortunately, and unexpectedly, a good pair of small vice-grips on the heads worked well. Only a tiny rotation is needed to break them loose.
Re: the unit, it works well and I'm very pleased with it. However, the supplied 2.25 adapter doesn't mate to my Oneida Air hose end, which is, strangely, 2 5/16 OD. Maybe there will be a worldwide standard someday!

While the dust collection efficiency is noticeably better, the reliance on zip ties for the flex hose and vacuum connection feels like a major design flaw. It’s a functional improvement hampered by a makeshift mounting system.

As I said before, I am very please with the results of my Bosch dust chute from Shop Nation.
The item I just bought was the same Gen II that I purchased in 2024. When I replace the unit I found that the original chute did have a few cracks on two of the bolt flanges on the saw attachments. I did not know the problem until I replaced the chute.
Again I say, the dust chute does a great job of collecting dust.

This product is very nicely manufactured and presented, and was very easy to install. The only slight issue I had was removing the four OEM rear guard plates, as the screws had slightly corroded into the aluminium casting. A drip of penetrating oil and a good-fitting screwdriver sorted it.
One very minor suggestion I have is that the manufacturer consider adding a 90-degree vacuum fixing option for the end of the flexible hose, as this would make the vacuum connection fall more naturally. It is easy to facilitate this by using the OEM connector, but it would be nice to 'do it in one'.

It looks great. I am just trying to find ways to connect it to my 12 gallon Hercules dust extractor. I am also looking for an adapter for my Bosch table saw to Hercules dust extractor. (Laughing, just a beginner wood worker finding out how to make dust go away more efficiently.)

I just received #3 and #4 of these dust collectors. Absolutely love these. As a construction teacher I have a lot of students using the Mitre saw and this generates more sawdust than you can imagine. captures most of the dust at the chute if you cut slowly, a little faster and you get snow in the air; still have to vacuum around the area. Also, on my Bosch I had to remove the complete blade cover, because a portion of the power cord at the side where the back screw on the right needs to be removed was in the way ( would not budge at all.

Great product. Greatly Reduced the amount of sawduct coming from my mitre saw, however i’ve made a fence for my saw and this requires a lot of space on both sides of the blade to work correctly. It is an awesome product but ill have to figure something out.

Dust collection performance is significantly improved with this adapter. However, the flexible hose and its connection to the dust collector could be better designed. For the 12" Bosch miter saw, the instructions recommend securing the flexible tubing and adapter to the power cord with a zip tie, which is not an especially stable solution. A more secure and purpose-built method for attaching the hose and adapter to the saw would improve the overall design.
Based on the cost and poor mounting for the flexible hose and adapter, I probably would not buy this again.

The print quality and fit is very good. The overall design worked well in my 12” Bosch Glide. I used my own longer 1” flex hose connected to a dedicated shop vac. The exit angle of the dust shroud did interfere slightly for my application so a designed and printed my own exhaust port.

The installation was pretty easy - the worst part was removing the screw inside the blade cover that was hidden by the electrical wire. The dust collection is better but it restricts how tall of a board you can cut. Overall I'm happy with it.

As stated it does not eliminate 100% however it’s a massive improvement over the stock dust collection. I didn’t watch the video link supplied as I felt I researched and watched enough prior to receiving. This tip may have been given. The 4 screws that attach to the saw were the only difficult part of install. I started the screws and removed prior to the install. Solved all of the difficulty. Good product and I’m happy I purchased.

Was not that impressed. Small amount of dust seems to follow the saw guard and drop in front the blade. Also if cutting different thicknesses above 1 inch the rubber boot catches it and throws the dust back forward. Using a 2" shop vac with adaptor.

I have installed the dust collector on my Bosch 10”” saw it is fantastic! The only issue I had was I had to fun a 8/32 tap thru the four holes on the main adapter Otherwise it was perfect

This dust chute is a huge upgrade in my shop! Works better than I expected! Easy to install; I had it in and in use in a few minutes! Great! However, I had an unfortunate experience shortly after installation and allowed a piece of cutoff maple to get launched into the chute. (operator error I suspect) Several pieces of the chute broke off. I contacted Shop Nation and was very happy to learn that they would replace the unit for me under warranty! The replacement was shipped out quickly but ran afoul of border customs/duty. Long story short, Shop Nation continued with superior customer service and a replacement arrived and is now on my Bosch saw as in the picture. Add me to your VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER list!!

Great product. Our purchase was a replacement of the same item. It does what it is supposed to, but not everyone in our shared shop is as careful as they should be to guard against small cutoffs being flung at the dust chute. While it is heavy duty plastic, even it can't always withstand the force of the cutoff. Recognizing that it is misuse and not the product, we bought two more so we'll have a replacement at hand should it happen again.

The fit was perfect, the dust collection is probably %80 percent better than factory but 10x better on miter cuts. This is my second one, the previous one was for a 12” ridgid miter saw. Very pleased with the product and would highly recommend it to anyone.
