Great idea and we'll made. Really appreciate the flexible shield and extra sheet. The only area for improvement would be in attaching the hose. I had someone else's that had a hose clamp the screwed into a pivot point. It's was also 3d printed but didn't last long. I ran across you products and decided to give it a try. I've also been watching your YouTube channel about 3d printing, great stuff! We'll presented without extraneous banter and great production quality.

I was surprised with how thick and durable the extractor was printed. This extractor will probably last as long as the saw! Love that they included a second vinyl boot in case wear and tear and wood chips damage the first.

Butter fingers me, I dropped it first thing when installing it and the thin fragile wall that holds the rubber flap lost one mounting hole. Still work like a charm!

This is an awesome improvement to my Bosch miter saw. The original dust collection is really bad. With this, the saw becomes virtually dust free. The design is very good, installation instruction video is excellent and the installation is easy. Now the only crappy function remaining in my Bosch is the laser which is impossible to adjust so that both left and right beams would precisely match with the saw blade.

I had one hickup with the installation. One connector piece was tightly embedded in another for shipping. Mine was black and the one in the video was blue. At first I thought I was missing the connector. Luckily I pushed the two pieces apart before I sent an email asking for the replacement. In hindsight it was silly, but I suspect others might make the same mistake.
Other than that, the installation was very easy and the instructions were clear. Based on my test cuts, this dust chute clearly outperforms the original.

Dramatic improvement over the stock dust collection port. Miter saws are notorious for kicking around dust, but this upgrade provides a huge improvement and is a must for minimizing dust and debris.

Dust collection is noticeably improved, but in order to fully collect dust, the vacuum port needs to be a full 2-1/2 in order to pull full flow with a shop dust collector. The small hose to larger hose adapter still drops the dust collector fan off the fan performance curve. The smaller hose setup works pretty well for a large shop vac but just not for a dust collector setup like mine.
If the vacuum port was a 2-1/2" adapter with reducers for other hose sizes it would work better.
Installation was very easy, it appears to be well made, but it only gets me to the 10 yard line from a dust standpoint, so it is not likely I would have bought it from the price/value standpoint knowing this ahead of time.

The dust collection on my Bosch miter saw is vastly improved. The 2.5” adapter is a little tight for my shop vac hose. I can barely get it to stay in the adapter. Perhaps it should be tapered a bit to allow for a better compression fit.

Third one I have ordered as the first two got broken by cutting some aluminum trim. This one the color match is better than the second one and the design is upgraded from the first version. Great product and would buy again.

It all fitted very easily but the supplied hose was way to short because my extraction is to the right side of the saw and I did not realise that there was a longer hose option. Then you have to have the fence opening wide otherwise you can do a rearward cut but then you cannot bring the saw forward as the rubber part fouls on the fence. For many cuts you want this opening small or you fit a zero clearance fence so a problem here.

The parts fit perfectly and instruction video excellent. I have a very strong dust collection system (Oneida Supercell). After I installed your new fittings the dust is zero... I expected some dust but due to high air flow of Supercell there was zero dust. Very happy with purchase.

This is the second dust chute I've ordered for the same saw. My first exploded when I attempted to cut a small piece and didn't let the saw get up to full speed. Let that be a lesson to everyone! Wait for the saw to get fully up to speed.

I bought this for the same saw a couple of years ago, the hose had a design problem. I had to manipulate it to work. Cutting small shims I pushed to hard and fast throwing a piece of wood into the vacuum chute shattering the plastic. The redesign of this chute and hose is awesome and works great.

Installation required some adaptation - Bosch protective guard (over the power wires) must be removed or cut (I preferred to keep the protection so I cut the part.
It is disappointing to see how small the air passage is reduced to - a real missed opportunity for increased airflow.

Good video on how to install. Works great. Huge reduction in dust. I need a better adapter because I use the Bosch dust extractor, the Bosch attachment is a little “dangley” with the new set up because it doesn’t just click in, but no big deal. Overall 10/10 as advertised.

Building a 2nd wood-shop and had purchased a new Bosh miter saw. While building the shop I knew I would need to do something to improve dust collection. The manufacturer setup probably collected 40% of the sawdust, the rest was either airborne or dropped in a 5’ radius.
Saw a video compelling video online, ordered the dust shoot. Following an installation video, which made it a breeze. The product works as advertised. I have two shops and a second Bosh miter saw. After seeing the results I ordered a second dust shoot for the second saw.
It’s amazing how poorly Bosh designed dust extraction on an otherwise good miter saw. I think dust extraction was an afterthought for Bosh.

This is a must have for my my Bosch miter saw. Works fantastic. It's not perfect - some dust escapes, my first one broke when it got hit by an offcut (though they say Gen 2 is more durable and eventually gave me a discount for purchasing that). But what is? Far and away the best solution I have found.

As you noted, it doesn't pick up all the sawdust. The best feature is that it does not inhibit any cut needed. While much better than the original port, I am still seeing a good bit of dust especially on the right side of the saw and on the floor. It seems the dust bounces back a good bit. I have an old 2 HP Delta dust collector dedicated to the saw which is rated to draw about 1000 cfm. Probably draws a good bit less with the smaller duct used on the Bosch port but seems to have decent suction. It isn't doing quite as well as I had hoped it would.

I have it installed but haven’t really had a chance to use yet other than test cuts to see how well it performs. So far I’m quite impressed. The only little hitch I ran into is that on the Bosch saw a part of the wiring harness hides a screw and makes it a little tricky to install .

Installation went smoothly except one adapter broke while I was twisting it into position. I did a quickie tape job to get rolling and the folks at Shop Nation immediately sent me a replacement. The product works as advertised. I noticed an immediate improvement in dust collection. The customer service was flawless.

Very well made. It does collect a lot more sawdust. So far I haven’t had any issues but i can see if i was cutting something like a 4x4 I may have to remove the dust collector. Fortunately I dont usually cut thay size lumber with my miter saw.

I have a couple of Bosh miter saws. They are really nice, accurate and well engineered. Just one exception, dust removal. I would guess that the manufacturers design collect about 30% of what the blade throws off. It’s almost as though the dust collection was an after thought when designing the saw.
I added Shop Nations after market dust port and now I would guess it’s collecting 95-98% of the dust. In addition, installation was a breeze.
I have now ordered a second one for my other Bosh miter saw.

The chute is big! All the pieces fit exactly like they should and nothing is a headache. It's very obvious that it is a printed product, and there some areas where the layers look a bit wonky, but I tried to break the adapter, for instance, just to see if it was defective and I would not break, so I believe it is merely cosmetic. These are not injection molded, and printed parts have their own unique characteristics. Their customer service is one of the best, which makes a huge difference to me.

The product was well made, but the 4 screws on the Bosch blade guard were nearly impossible to remove due to manufacturer's thread lock. With a lot of effort I was able to remove 2 screws on the front using locking pliers. It's possible I could have removed the 3rd but it would have been very difficult. It is impossible to remove the 4th due to access. I think the seller should acknowledge this.

Picks up a lot more dust than the factory attachment. The wire tie attachment of the hose to the power cord on the saw does not hold the hose coupling in place well. I will need to devise another method. Overall a great improvement.

Adding the dust improvement add on was easy. I have the CM10GD and it took me less than 10 minutes to install it. Comparing the previous system the new one was much better. But don’t think it will pick up all the dust because it will not. Overall a great improvement and I would recommend it for anyone that has a CM10GD.

Fits really well. Definitely pulls in more dust than the stock setup. The only downside is the flap seems a little clunky. Can’t close my fence all the way if I need to, but I think it’s a relatively fair trade. Will have a better idea if it’s worth that 5th star when I cut some bigger trim or crown.

Installation was a bit more then illustrated, but did go well. I have also combined with Inspire Woodcrafts dust throat plate and now there is very little dust from my Bosch saw. The rubber shield of yours does scrape the surface of larger pieces, but that is expected. Welcome upgrade. Great job. Keep up the good work for all of us
