I broke off the threaded portion of the dust collection chute body trying to remove the hard tube I installed instead of the flexible tube. I Super Glued it back together and later threaded on the flexible tube. It's holding together so far. Doesn't work well on 4 X 4's but dust collection on 4/4 and 6/4 material is greatly improved.

Overall, the dust collection on my saw is much better than before. Installation was straightforward, following the video instructions. The parts seem well made, so it should last. My only gripes are that the supplied zip-ties were inadequate to secure the hose in the position I wanted, and the outlet should have come with an elbow. It also didn't fit my hose, but nothing ever does, so I don't fault SN for that. I managed to make my own attachment with stronger zip-ties, and 3D printed an elbow that fits my hose better. I love this setup!

I installed it on my Bosch 10-Inch Dual-Bevel Glide Miter Saw. The dust collection intake works very well, but I’m not a fan of the output port mounting method, which relies on a couple of zip ties. The video shows it being zip-tied to a section of the power cable, causing the output port to move along with the glide action of the saw. I’m not sure why the design didn’t make use of the existing mounting holes. I also dislike that I can no longer use the original dust bag because of the excessive movement of the output port.

The attachment for the hose (ties) is very floppy and is not well thought out. The rubber flairs out too much at the bottom and I need to separate the guide by too

it is a perfect fit and well designed. installation video was very precise and helpful. overall, a great product at a great price. I tried to get the OEM part to replace the original broken one but was unable to get it in Australia. I am glad I came across this and was shipped from the USA quicker than I received notification that I could not get on here. Look forward to seeing what else I can get in the future.

Your dust collector adapters don't fit my vacuum adapters. However my vacuum does fit the bosch saw dust collector. You would think you would have the same connection as the original bosch saw. Vacuum DeWalt DWV010 l was told there's nothing you can do for me.I have to figure it out on my own.

Dust collector was very easy to install and it works well but it really depends on how powerful your vacuum system is to make it work properly. I still have an issue with debris falling in the kerf slot.
All in all it is the best solution for my miter saw and I am grateful for Shop Nation creating it and making it available to everyone.

It’s easy to install and as a good job of collecting the dust. The amount of cutting room that you lose is a disappointment. Found that I had to trim radius corners the rubber shield that came with it to reduce some of the catching on material.

The instructions were easy to follow, and (if Bosch hadn't run the power cable on my saw wrong) the installation was quick. Most important, IT WORKS! I immediately saw a dramatic reduction in dust- or maybe I didn't see nearly as much dust. Almost all of it made it to my vacuum. The product is sturdy, well-designed, and does what it claims.

Easy to order. Delivered relatively qquickly considering the distance it travelled and worked exactly as promised, (once I'd removed the kink fro the shop vac hose... oops) My only gripe was the price as I'm in the UK and it cost quite a bit more to get it here thanks to both the US and UK governments taking their bite of the pie. Honestly still in disbelief at how effective it is, cut around 300 lf of pine 2x4 to build some rafters for a porch roof. At the end of the day I would estimate 98% of the dust was caught by my dust collector. There was also a noticeable lack of fine dust floating around the cut station. On the first use I saved 30 minutes of brushing and vacuuming all those little nooks and crannies that would collect debris.
Only minor complaint was installation on my Bosch Axial. You should recommend removal of the blade guard and blade. The power feed runs in front of one of the screws and it takes a little finesse to thread without pinching the cable housing and damaging it. Pulling the blade off fives your hand room to work the cable and get a snug fit. It's also safer to not have your hands anywhere near a blade!

I liked it so much on my first miter saw I bought one for the upgrade too. This one installed really easy and is easy to take off so you can change blades. The saw can handle a bigger hose, I might model around some on that and make it bigger so the bottleneck in pressure is closer to the blade.

I bought my Bosch GCM12SD last Fall, got it home, and couldn't believe the amount of sawdust it blasted all over my shop. It has the absolute worst dust collection I've ever seen in a miter saw. My shop vacuum had been connected to my old miter saw, but hose fittings can't attach to the Bosch exhaust tube... another poor design.
The situation was so bad that I didn't use the saw again. Months went by until I saw an ad for your kit. I thought it was worth a try.
Once it was installed, I made a test cut... there was virtually no sawdust!! You can actually see the sawdust getting sucked into the new dust chute.
Your system has met, if not exceeded, my expectations!

Everything worked well. Installation was straightforward after watching the installation video. Zip tying the hose to cord is a bit flimsy. I designed and 3D printed a support bracket that support the hose.

The fit and appearance is as good as you could hope for, the functionality so far has been encouraging having made just a few cuts using a small vacuum that I usually use with orbital sanders and other smaller tools. The performance was noticeably better, the collection of fine particles was an important improvement, no coating of sawdust on the backside of the saw. Eventually it will have a better collection system connected, appreciated as an important part of keeping my work area a safer environment

The included video instructions made the installation go smoothley. The hardest part of the installation was to find suitable connectors to marry the Chute to my dedicated vacuum. Dust collection on my Bosch miter saw has signifacanty improved.
