I have a Dewalt miter saw in my garage on a stand. There have been countless times I put off using the saw for quick jobs because I didn’t want saw dust floating around in the air, because the dust accumulated over everything I store on the shelves. I installed the dust collector from Shop Nation and it works great. Another plus is that I don’t have to pull my saw stand away from the wall. The original dust port stuck out the back of the saw, and with the shop vac attached, the saw needed to be pulled away from the wall at least foot or two. That meant moving the car, etc. The new dust collector changed all of that and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for recognizing the problem and fixing it.

This dust collector for my DWS715 saw works great. Customer service is on the spot and took care of a problem of my own making! After getting the right model installed, I would estimate the system collects about 90% of the sawdust which makes a big difference in my shop.

I bought this before and it worked great! After about a year, I noticed that it had been smashed up, probably by a small cut-off that flew back through the fence (I don't use a zero clearance fence). So, I bought this one as a replacement.

Very happy with this tool attachment. It greatly improved dust collection on my Dewault Miter Saw. It’s not 100% but it’s an enormous improvement over the standard system that came with the saw and seemed to collect nothing. The attachment was very easy to install (took about 5-10 minutes) and feels high quality. I would highly recommend.

While the product does a good job I learned the makers are behind in staying up with the products they make these for. If you have a 'Type 20' in the Dewalt Miter Saw the design needs improvement. The claim is they can't find a Type 20 in there area, yet these saws are sold everywhere daily. They have graciously offered to refund but aa I said they work better than the original one on the saw. The 3 star is for their lack of staying abreast with current models and failing to disclose that information prior to selling.

This dust collection system is far better than the factory installed version. I immediately noticed a huge reduction in the amount of saw dust around my saw. The installation was quick and easy thanks to the installation video provided via a QR code that comes with the product (didn’t have to search the web for help). Finally had the time to install your dust collector. Installation went as easily as shown on the video. Dust collection is not as complete as I had hoped but I still need to correct some inconsistencies in my vacuum system. I can tell that it will be much better than what I had before. Rubber skirt is not low enough to capture dust when cutting 3/4" lumber. There is no significant change in dust removal. Very disappointed with product.

Easy to install and works fairly well. There's still some dust coming off from the cuts, but this system catches like 80% of all the dust created by the cut. Which is significantly higher than the dust removal system that came with the miter saw. Would recommend to a fellow woodworker looking to reduce the dust in their shops.

The dust boot works better than expected. I've only tried it on MDF and it was close to 100%. I was shocked. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the hole to connect the rubber skirt, (the one on the right side) was off about 1/8". I elongated the hole and it fit fine and feels secure. The blade is tracking dead center. I was going to print one of these myself one day but could have never come up with this design. Thanks for the hard work.

I purchased the Shop Nation dust collector for my DeWalt 716 miter saw and I honestly wish I had done it sooner. Installation was incredibly simple — just a few minutes and I was up and running.
The results are stunning.
Before this, my miter saw threw sawdust everywhere. Now, virtually all of the dust gets captured and pulled straight into my vacuum. It has completely transformed how clean my shop stays and makes using the saw far more enjoyable.
On top of that, their customer service is outstanding. I had a delivery issue and reached out via email. They responded quickly, handled everything professionally, and resolved it without any hassle. Communication was easy and prompt — exactly how customer service should be.

Fits as advertised. Do recommend taking off the blade so it’s easier to access the necessary screws. Also when attaching the rubber skirt, drive the screw until it just touches the plastic. Otherwise you’ll crack it like I did.

I have tried everything I could think of to catch the dust from my DW716 Chop Saw until I found this collector. It was extremely easy to install and catches 90% of the dust in 90 degree and all angle cuts up to 45 degree.
It's a greater product. I wish I had found it years ago.

Great improvement with my DW715 dust collection. There is still a small amount dispersed along the sides but i didn't expect it to get 100%. The only possible weakness i see is the vacuum connection line hangs on the rear. I am disconnecting my vacuum multiple times to use on other equipment. With the weight of the vacuum line pulling on this line and the constant connecting and disconnecting vacuum line, i feel the lightweight line will break. Suggest designing so the piece mounts to the saw somehow.

Works great meaning that it now sucks up most of the dust, way way better than the stock attachment. My saw is mounted to a flip cart I built with my planer on the flip side. When I stow the cart, I swing the saw Lear to the right or left and noticed the neoprene skirt gets crushed by the fence do I remove the two thumb screws and let the device hang there out of the way. I put the two thumb screws back into their respective spots. Easy
