You guys should think about an attachment for the backside of the dust shoot. An adapter for a shop vac hose.

The stock dust collection on my Metabo was terrible. It was so bad I was considering buying a Bosch miter saw just so I could get a SN dust collector because at the time it wasn’t available for Metabo. SN dust collection is a thousand percent better. Great job

Excellent addition to my Metabo HPT. I had a SN chute on my Dewalt that worked ridiculously well until I broke it while making a cut that I should’ve not tried. The piece of wood was not secured, as well as I thought, and the blade chucked the wood into the dust chute. But the good news is that I still have all my fingers and the Metabo HPT chute works as well as my Dewalt did.

No where on the site when i purchased this said i needed to hacksaw my saw in order to install this kit. in the instructions it said it can be returned for a refund. when i reached out they informed me there were be fees clawed back from my total original price. Also it came with missing parts. They send me missing parts.

Received order quickly and everything needed was in the package. My model saw required me to chop off a piece of the cast aluminum originally meant for kickback protection, but mine was faulty from the factory so it was useless anyway. When I inserted the chute into the saw, I had to make another customization; I had to drill out the hole for the thumbscrew so it would line up properly. Then I used a washer on the thumbscrew to keep it secure. See pics attached. Someone else said they filed some of the SN chute to make it fit which would have been a better idea but you live and learn. The dust collection is improved but not 100% perfect, though it doesn’t claim to be. Just be prepared to make changes on the fly to make it work.

I had been waiting for a dust chute to fit my particular saw for quite some time. As soon as it was available they contacted me, as promised. The chute arrived quickly and they even produced a very good video on installation. When a thumbscrew was inadvertently left out of my kit I never had to contact them. They caught the oversight and put one in the mail saving me the trouble. I wish more companies today were so proactive. I'm impressed.

Dust collection was much improved versus original.
Had to do a little filing on the two stop tabs to get the thumb screw to line up with the insert.

Nicely made product. Fitted perfectly with my Hitatchi chop saw.
Only thing was that the thumb screw was missing. I used the old screw, but I’m sure that I would get a replacement if I asked.

I last posted at the end of 2023 and first made contact with you 6 months prior to that to see if you were going to build one of your awesome dust collection tools for the Matebo 12 in compound miter saw (C12RSH2 (S)). If I had a 3D printer and your engineering skills I would just build my own but I dont. Im willing to pay double the price and be your beta test for fitment and use. What does a fellow maker need to do to get one of these bad boys? Come on man, feel my pain and dust problems. LOL
