This is my second one only because they are very easy to break. In my case, the rubber shroud got pushed into the material, causing the blade to shatter the chute. Don't know what the fix is but when it's intact and installed correctly, it works very well. Maybe a discount to established purchasers that need that particular part replaced.

It didn't come with the screws you show in the picture. I used the old ones which was fine. The picture might be deceiving to some that might need them. Rubber is great.

The installation is very simple, only about 5-10 minutes. And after installed, captures 95% of the dust from my Dewalt 779. The only downside is that you have to remove it to change blades. Not a big deal, and hardly ever done. However, I broke the main chute while changing blades (my fault). I purchased a replacement piece and it arrived within a week. One suggestion I would make is to purchase a light- colored adapter for your saw, if available, as the screws are black and one is in a very narrow space that can be hard to see against dark- colored plastic.

I did receive a new chute and flexible flaps but I did not receive any flap screws so I reached into my drawer to find other screws to hold the flap onto the chute.
I have been pleased with the dust collection and the reason I had to replace the chute was a piece of wood flew off while cutting some stock and the piece of wood broke the old chute. The flap I received with the original chute had some tears in it where I was not careful using the saw and the flap laid on the wood during a long cross cut and was cut by the compound miter saw.

Easy peasy install. Only thing to b"ue aware of is that you'll need to move the fence halves out a bit to clear the new dust guides. That will leave about 3" "unsupported" in the middle so small off-cuts may take wing. The tradeoff is totally worth it!

The online instructional installed video was excellent. The only problem I had was holding the small screws with my fat fingers, lol! A magnetic driver to install the screws with would have been an excellent idea, but I didn't have one.

I damaged the original chute. Looks like a short cutoff got launched and cracked the chute molding. The replacement works great. Adding a bit more material near the entry point and around the rubber skirt channel would make it more robust. All in all, a great dust eliminator for my shop.
I hooked it up to my new Grizzly 2 stage cyclone. Really sucks now!

The dust collector works great. It’s way better than the original even with a vacuum attached. I tried several different ways to collect dust I found on the internet but most got in the way when using the saw for miter joints. Shop nations is out of the way and collects 90% of the dust.

It's a big upgrade over the factory system on a dewalt 779, but when you slide the saw on a wide cut, the dust/chips will bypass the suction head as they travel under the throat plate and out the back. It gathers about 70% of the dust created. My first unit broke when a piece small piece of material was thrown back by the blade. I will say shopnation was great to help me replace the broken part and shipped quickly. This is a very good company to do business with.

I use your device with a shop vac, pulse a large dust collector behind with a Harvey G700 and together they work great. I saw on the internet where someone has designed dust collection for the zero kerf area on the Dewalt……is that you? I would add that, if it came from you, but I would not switch systems to add it. What I have now works great.

This is a good product. Works okay. There is no way to collect all the chips coming off the Miter Saw blade. I first bought this system this spring. I observed some deterioration from contact with the blade so ordered a couple more. Satisfied customer.

I bought the full kit from you guys but the rubber kept falling off. I ordered new rubber and took the whole thing apart only to find the chut body was cracked so no longer holding the rubber in place. So I had to order another chute body. Now with shipping of both replacemnet pieces I am in over $100 whcih I think is way overpriced for what it is. Hopefully this one will last.

This certainly collects a lot more dust than my Dewalt did before. It works really well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's hard to get the flat rubber piece that collects the dust to stay in the saw. A piece of rubber, held in by metal screws. The rubber falls out every now and then. You can't tighten the screws too much or they go right through the rubber. This is not a deal breaker. I will continue to buy this dust collector.

I was a little surprised how easy the 3D printed piece broke . I really like the design and would be very interested in the cost of a metal chute if that were an option.
