How do you download the stl files?

I thought I was buying a piece of equipment not a bag of nuts and bolts with a piece of rubber in it. I don't feel it was clearly marked this was a print your own kit. From the ads and what I read in the description I thought I would be getting something I could use. I'm a carpenter not a computer tech.

Au final ça va m’avoir épargné des dizaine d’heures de conception et des centaines d’heure d’impression que j’aurais dû faire pour arriver à un tel résultat.

Got tired off constantly gathering dust behind my miter saw, than I discovered this dust collection. Read the reviews, purchased the plans and hardware easy install and wham-o- dust gathering behind my miter saw was a thing of the past. Glad I found this solution. Thanks shop nation.

This accessory is much better than stock for 2 reasons. First, it just does a better job of capturing dust. The attached pic shows how much it missed cutting 4 2x4s - stock leaves much more. I'm guessing this better because the shroud is bigger, it wraps around the blade tighter, and the chute is a shorter and fatter.
Second, the stock dust port exits out the back end of the arm - this exits on top. My saw sits on a cabinet against a wall. With stock I need that much room at the back end of the saw to connect my vac hose. It's already a deep saw, stock system makes it stick out that much further.
I bought the 3D printed set and had a friend print it. He said it took less than 24 hours to print everything. Materials cost was under $10.

Very easy to print. A thoughtful design that is a huge improvement over the stock system. I am using with 2.5 dust hose. May work even better with shop vac.

Kit installed fine but didn't really reduce dust all that much.

The thing went on much easier than I expected. I was nervous about taking my saw apart but it was downright easy. It works as advertised. My one very small concern is when cutting thick stock from the outside in, the rubber thingy pushes up on the wood. The blade made short work of cutting a slot in it so it is not a real problem. (see video)

Thanks for improved design. I wish there was a design that still incorporated the metal blade guard into the design as well though.

The model printed perfectly and there's a very noticeable difference in the amount of sawdust collected. Would definitely recommend this kit for the Dewalt.

The design is really good and the print turned out great! I printed with ABS glass fill for some extra strength. Everything fit together well. My only complaint is that you can't change the blade when this is installed. I almost never change my blade, but it is slightly annoying that I will have to remove it to do so. Dust collection is so much better and totally worth it!

The 3d printer files were very good and resulted in good parts. The flap that comes with the kit is woefully inadequate and after a couple of days was days was worn out The rubber is not tough enough to withstand the force of sawdust hitting it. Needs to be more durable and am looking for another material to use instead. The slot the the rubber fits into needs to be wider so a thicker piece of rubber will fit and replace the flimsy piece that came in the kit.
