Will it fit my saw?
Every solution is designed for specific saw models. Match the model number on your saw's label to the compatible models listed on the product page. If your exact model isn't listed, fit isn't guaranteed, so let us know and we'll consider it for our roadmap.
Do I have to modify my saw?
In most cases, no. Most of our chutes mount in the same spot as your stock dust chute. A few models need a minor modification, and when one does, its product page says so up front and walks you through it.
Will I lose cutting capacity?
Every dust collection chute is designed to maximize the available capacity of the saw while balancing dust collection efficiency. If the chute ever gets in the way, quickly remove it to gain back full functionality of your saw, then replace it when you're done!
What if a part breaks or goes missing?
We stand behind our products. Every order comes with a 30-day warranty: if anything breaks, we'll replace it, and we accept returns for any reason. After that, we still support every product we sell with individual replacement parts, from hose adapters to chute components, so you're never stuck with a half-working kit.
What kind of vacuum should I use?
To get the most out of your new dust chute we highly recommend a good shop vac or dust extractor. The key is to choose a suction source with high static pressure rather than a high flow rate (CFM). For this reason we generally do not recommend connecting your Shop Nation dust chute hose to a high CFM rated dust collector meant for larger tools. Everything is tested in house with shop vacs or dust extractors.
