The jury is still out. We are a production cabinet company with several different employees that use this saw. After a recent fire and rebuild, I decided to try your product in order to minimize the mess these saws create. Within a week, the first rubber "curtain" got destroyed - I didn't witness it and no one claimed responsibility. The next week I noticed a lot of extra saw dust around the saw and found the dust tube to be clogged and cleared it easily. I reinstalled a replacement "curtain" and it disappeared within a few hours. Apparently, I had not secured it properly (dust in the groove prevented it from being fully seated) and the employee using the saw simply threw it in the trash. It was retrieved, reinstalled (properly) and we try again. Easy install and everything went together as expected.

I bought the wrong part. I bought a collector for a DW715 thinking it would fit because my saw is a DWS715. It didn't fit. Customer service has been extremely slow to respond if at all. I would eat the part I bought, after all it was my fault, and order the correct part but apparently they don't make a collector for a DWS715. So far it's been crickets...

Build seems good but it seems to be awfully close to the blade on the left side. Kinda scared to test it out after seeing your video of one failing. Also, the thumb screw on the left side has minimal surface to grab onto when trying to screw out.

The piece that holds the flexible material and screws onto the saw has three screw holes. Only two holes match up with the existing. Screw holes on the saw. I connected the provided flexible hose with and adapter to the hose on my slope vac/ cyclone and started it. I then started to cut wood with the Dewalt saw. Sawdust still all over the place. Not happy at all after spending over $50 to get this dust collector.

Install was ok with some modifications so it didn't hit the blade. After using a couple of times the rubber flap gets sucked in and becomes useless. I tried to email you and got no response. I am working on my own solution.

Most mitersaws were never designed with dust collection in mind. The dust bag is just an after thought. With your upgrade and the miter saw attached to a shop vacuum, around 80% of the dust is now collected! When I build the miter saw and radial arm saw into a bench, the rest of the dust will be collected by a funnel shapped hood under the saw.

All of the components for the saw fit perfectly and it only took a few minutes to install. It was actually more difficult to remove the original saw parts.
The new parts direct saw dust into the collection channel and tube very nicely.
I do have some difficulty attaching my vacuum hoses into the adaptors provided. The female inside dimensions for the hose adaptors are just a hair smaller than the male ends of my vacuum hoses. I tried sanding the inside of the hose adaptor to remove the ridges forming process. That helped some.
All in all I am very pleased, and would highly recommend this product to anyone.

My dust collector chute for my Dewalt miter saw is the best item I’ve ever added to dust collection in my shop. It is a night and day difference from the stock chute. For this particular setup, you’ll look at it and think you got the wrong parts. Watch the YouTube video and it’ll all make sense.

Collector fits perfect, and a very easy install. The only issue I have is the adapter for the vac hose. The 2.5 inch fitting is too small diameter to join without sanding the inside a bit. That's the only issue I had. The smaller vac adapter fits fine.

The device actually worked quite well. It was easy to install, with a video to assist in the process. My only negative comment is with the adapter for the hose. It is a twist on connection, but there isn't much friction and it too easily twists off.

It does a pretty good job, but I still have a lot of sawdust on the floor. I also found out that, when I do 45 degree cuts in either direction, the rubber flap that is supposed to capture the sawdust gets hits the back rail, forcing it do deform and it ends up rubbing on the blade.

I'm finding that when using a Dewalt 12" 80T blade that has a 1" arbor and requires you to flip the included mandrel around for it to work causes the blade chute to bind the blade.
The attached video shows this. My best guess is that by shifting the blade chute to the left by 3/16" should better center it for a blade with a 5/8" arbor and better accommodate the newer elite blades with the 1" arbor.

The parts fit well, it was an easy parts change, and it has helped to reduce the dust at this chop saw. The "skirt" could be a little longer; I think it would help even more and still be out of harm's way. Something about the hose causes it to almost whistle and that is annoying; maybe a length of smooth hose would remedy that noise. Overall good experience

The video made the installation vey easy and the dust collection is definitely improved. I did notice when I cut a board at 45 degrees the rubber hits the fence and pushes it forward. When I brought the saw down the blade took a chunk of the rubber. I have the second piece so it’s okay and I’ll be aware of that the next time. Otherwise I’m happy with it
