It definitely improved dust collection on my Dewalt DWS715 miter saw.
The reason I didn't give it 5 stars:
1. The quality of the 3D printing which had surface defects in various spots.
2. The mounting holes were overly countersunk. The screws on the Dewalt are round head machine screws. It felt like if I tightened the screws any more the mounting hole would crack through.

Rubber flap is already torn and it hits the fence. Was hoping it’d work with the dust bag because I’m not always hooked to dust collection and it sadly is way worse than the stick setup when it comes to that.

It does rub on the left side of my blade. My blade is square, it still cut and I’m fine with that. Great product.. I might use a dremel to grind the sides.

Install went ok. Two of the three screw holes line out, one did not but the two screws seem to hold ok.
Added some duct tape to extend the flap forward and outward.

Travis did a great job designing this essential piece for my Dewalt miter saw, I had tried all kinds of other ideas to reduce the amount of dust but nothing worked.. until this, I made several cuts installing base boards and crown molding and my chop saw area looks like I hadn’t cut much of anything. Very little sawdust is left behind , and none on the adjoining counters like before. If there was some type of award for tool innovation, Travis should definitely be the winner. Buy this you won’t regret it, installation was quick and easy and you can tell Travis put alot of thought into the design. Shop Greatness at its finest!

I purchased the dust control kit for my DWS715 this summer but didn’t get it installed until the day after Christmas. I hoped it would help but I was skeptical that it would mostly eliminate blowing sawdust around my one-car garage woodshop from my miter saw. This little kit has far exceeded my expectations. Almost all of the dust got caught by this kit. I couldn’t be happier.

I have the DSW716XPS and the screw locations were different from the description in the video but I figured it out. The Part tat hugs around the blade rubbed on the left side of the blade but I resolved that by placing 3 thin washers as shims under the right side to open the gap on the left side of the blade where it rubbed. All is great now! and the dust collection is superb. Thank You.

I am very happy with this add on! While it does not collect 100% of the miter saw dust it is a HUGE improvement. So much so that I do not hesitate in using my miter saw in my tiny shop. I actually look forward to it rather than considering other cut options (heavens forbid that I use a hand saw).

Installation onto my DeWalt 715 was pretty easy once I got the proper Torx driver. With my shop vac as the dust collector I'd say better than 80% of dust is now collected compared with about 40% with the stock system.
I'm pleased with build quality and accuracy of installation video. Highly recommend!

The dust collection on my DW miter saw is so much better. In fact I needed to move my shop last year and a big challenge in the new space was getting dust collection to the miter saw hood. It's in the back of the shop and when this was released I was stoked. I was able to delete the hood and run DC off of a Fein extractor. It works better than the hood and is never in the way. 10/10.

Relatively easy installation. Been using it for a couple of weeks now and this thing really works. It captures a lot more dust than the factory one and the flexible hose that attaches to your vacuum, is far superior to the hose I was using. I highly recommend this product.

I am a researcher and did my research on this product before buying. It looked like it would work and seemed well built, but you never know. I could not have been more pleased. It is extremely well built, and the dust collection capabilities are insane! I would venture a guess it removes 95% or more of the dust! It was a little more expensive than I would have liked, but I will tell you, it is worth every penny if you are looking for good dust collection. Oh, good dust collection? GREAT dust collection!

Very easy to install especially with the video you can watch my scanning the QR code supplied. My saw is a Dewalt 716XPS.
Does a better job compared to stock Dewalt dust collection. You will still have some dust to clean up and should use a dust mask. The plastic seems a little brittle so I hope it holds up to repeated use.
Overall I am satisfied and think it is absolutely worth the money and I recommend it to anyone using a Dewalt miter saw.

The jury is still out. We are a production cabinet company with several different employees that use this saw. After a recent fire and rebuild, I decided to try your product in order to minimize the mess these saws create. Within a week, the first rubber "curtain" got destroyed - I didn't witness it and no one claimed responsibility. The next week I noticed a lot of extra saw dust around the saw and found the dust tube to be clogged and cleared it easily. I reinstalled a replacement "curtain" and it disappeared within a few hours. Apparently, I had not secured it properly (dust in the groove prevented it from being fully seated) and the employee using the saw simply threw it in the trash. It was retrieved, reinstalled (properly) and we try again. Easy install and everything went together as expected.

This does a good job preventing sawdust from blowing behind the saw. There is a lot of sawdust that blows out to the sides. Now I have to frequently clean sawdust off my side extension tables

I bought the wrong part. I bought a collector for a DW715 thinking it would fit because my saw is a DWS715. It didn't fit. Customer service has been extremely slow to respond if at all. I would eat the part I bought, after all it was my fault, and order the correct part but apparently they don't make a collector for a DWS715. So far it's been crickets...

Build seems good but it seems to be awfully close to the blade on the left side. Kinda scared to test it out after seeing your video of one failing. Also, the thumb screw on the left side has minimal surface to grab onto when trying to screw out.
