Installation was easy. Attached to a 5HP wet/dry vac with a brand new filter. It traps a lot but there still is a fair amount that goes right past the collector. I am building a box behind the collector to try to catch that as well.

This grabs most of the dust and is very compact. Installation was easy and well documented in the video. I found that getting the 2.5" hose as close to the saw as possible helped improve suction quite a bit.

Installed the new dust kit. First the transition hose connector was missing in the package. Messaged the company and they sent the part... all good there. Next...
had to grind part of my saw fence away to cut full miters. The system is a little clunky, but I think it will improve the dust collection.

I bought these for the Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Austin, TX Chapter's Miter Saws. We share space in a warehouse with a company that builds solar panels and we needed to keep down the saw dust. I have this system on my personal miter saw and knew how effective they are. They have reduced the amount of saw dust by at least 85 to 90 percent.

Got here quickly; followed the video instructions and had no problem installing it. Haven't had a need to test it yet, but it sits right on the saw base when the blade is down, so it appears that it will get most if not all the dust

The attachment I had to collect dust from the Dewalt DW715 was working. I still had dust on both sides of the saw blade . After installing the saw dust collection attachment from Shop Nation I reduced what was collected by at least 90%. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

Installation was a snap. The video was accurate and easy to follow and the installed chute fits well. The initial tests have shown that the dust pickup is good. Not perfect but seriously better than the original saw setup.

I did have to modify the part to make it work with my DW715.
The dust chute had a number of 715T on it. I don't know if that was the problem, but the dust port did not line up with the casting on my saw. I cut the part at an angle and rotated it until I got the port to line up with the casting. Some superglue and a couple wood splints made it strong enough and it works fine now.

When set to left hand 45 degree miter, flexible chute hits the right hand backstop and saw blade will tear chute. Only solution I can see is to flip the piece being cut and miter from right side. Otherwise it does as advertised and improves dust collection.

does its job much better than factory dust collection. The only issue is when cutting a miter to the left, the rubber interferes with the rail and the rubber is pushed into the blade. But, I guess that's why 2 rubber shrouds are sent.

I would indeed love to show a video but I don’t have anything recorded at this time.
However, I have to say that I have installed it to my saw and I am amazed by the difference. I’m currently making new doors for my outdoor shed. The trim I’m using is cedar and vinyl or pvc trim boards. The sawdust from the vinyl is normally everywhere. With this dust collector there is nearly nothing left behind.
The installation was well instructed and very easy to complete!

Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong part, and it doesn't appear there is a dust collection system available for my saw. It is an older version that I have had for over 25 years. Not your fault mine.

I initially did not receive everything I ordered but customer service did a great job completing the order. Installation was easy and connecting to my shop vac was straight forward. Some sawdust escapes below the saw base but overall it is better than the collection bag and will keep my shop much cleaner.

My initial impression upon opening the package was very good; things looked promising. Instructions and video for removing my stock Dewalt collector and installing the Shopnation part were excellent.
Then I ran into a 3D-printing defect: the groove meant to accept the flexible rubber skirt was flawed. The edge was frayed and weakened at one end of the groove including a screw hole, and the errant plastic was obstructing the groove so that the rubber skirt would not fit and would not work. I have photos)
After about 30 minutes ov careful work with a utility knife I was able to clear the groove, the rubber skirt fit, and the screw held sufficiently.
Finally, the dust collector works great - I'm very pleased with how well it works! A bit noisy, but I wear ear protection when using the saw, so that's no big deal.
With a little better quality control, it would have earned five stars.

This dust chute was a replacement for one I had bought last year. Unfortunately, I destroyed that unit while cutting a piece of aluminum on my miter saw. Lesson learned. Love this dust chute. Although it's not 100% at collecting all the dust. it's probably 85-90%. Much better than the stock dust chute from the factory which was in the range of 20% on a good day.

Assembly was pretty straightforward, I did have a bit of an issue connecting the hose, but finally got it secured. I tested it out after I installed it and it works great. I can tell it will really cut down on the sawdust that ends up on my workstation. Cannot wait to really test it out.

Sadly, although I verified I ordered the correct model, the chute was extremely close to the blade and I needed to remove after multiple attempts to adjust the screws. After weeks waiting for support to respond, I was told I would be refunded. No attempt to offer a replacement. Sad because I wanted to use it. The item itself looked great minus a minor imperfection. I’m sure it works great.
