This chute is being used on a Ryobi TSS101L, an older model. It works perfectly. It is being used with an Oneida dust cobra and as you can see in the video, it captures just about all of the dust.

It was an easy installation, and the video was easy to follow. The amount of dust I am seeing collected is truly close to 90-95% and that means a cleaner workshop. If you own a Ryobi miter saw, this should be the #1 upgrade for your shop Well-made and something I waited on for some time!!

Every owner of the Ryobi miter saw should have one installed. The dust reduction is easily 90% and a cleaner shop is much better. Its simple and easy ti install with only a couple of tools. Its well designed and the installation video is easy to follow.

Not sure how to use the zip ties on the hose. Maybe my setup but it seems to be working fine and definitely cut down on sawdust. Goes through the device down a hose connected to a separator and shop vac.

The dust collector is well made and fits together well. It fits my saw fine. However, it would be nice if there was a better way to attach the hose outlet to the saw. There is no good place to attach the end of the hose to the saw with the provided cable ties. I would make a tab on the hose end that has a hole in it that would allow the threaded portion of the slide lock thumbscrew to pass through it. The hose end would be held in place by the threaded shaft of the slide locking screw.

INCREDIBLE improvement in dust collection on my Ryobi miter saw. The original “dust chute” was basically useless. Maybe 10% dust collection. The rest went all over the shop. I was thinking I’d have to buy a miter hood to stop all the dust from flying but now it’s not an issue. Easily 80-90% dust collection! If you have a Ryobi miter saw you NEED this.

Use this saw just for breaking down material, makes the most mess in my shop, this has improved it more then I was expecting to be honest, easy install with video at that, feels quality where most 3d prints dont at all, extra rubber boot is a bonus, highly recommend it and greatful to have it as no one does things for a ryobi that I've noticed...very cool...oh you get a sticker, love me some stickers from tools...

I think it is quite an improvement over the dust chute that comes with the saw. however my power cord is routed along the arm that the rails slide through not in the air as in your video. Having trouble finding the right place to fasten zip ties too without being in the way. But will figure it out when I start using it more.

Bought the dust collector for the 12” Ryobi mitre saw. Easy to install. Definitely a huge improvement over the factory dust collector. Hooked it up to my Rigid shop vac. Works great. Would definitely recommend .

I spent months trying to contain the sawdust on my Ryobi miter saw. Hoses, tape, cardboard shutes, enclosed boxes... Finally I can now discard all that with this custom made shute. Of course 100 percent sawdust can never be contained, but... What a major improvement.

This dust collection kit for the Ryobi TSS103 miter saw works as described. My only gripe is that the dust collection kinda sucks at collecting dust when doing any type of a sliding cut. It seems like the dust just hits the rubber flap and then deflects off it instead of it getting sucked up. So I would say that it is perfect for the people who don’t do a lot of sliding cuts. But it does collect about 75 to 80 percent of the dust and definitely gets rid of the cloud of fine dust.

The functionality of the adapter is outstanding, but the durability is less than desired. It did not even last 4 hours on the job. While cutting a piece of 1x2 trim end miter, the piece from the cut-off was thrown into the adapter and snapped off the locking tab. It is very brittle because of the material used for the 3D printing. A more durable material, or better yet, a plastic mold-injected piece, would be a more suitable choice. I would not purchase this again.

Well, it doesn’t catch near enough of the wood chips. I think it needs either a larger opening or, what I’m going to call, a skirt attached to the front of it. My duct collection system should be producing plenty of suction. The opening in the front is just too small and only catches, I’d say, half of the dust.

I'm sure it will improve the stock dust collection but the design could have used some more effort in the overall functionality. The flexible hose having no designed attachment other than trying to find a place to zip tie it makes the saw look unfinished and makes the shop vacuum hose get in the way. It would have made sense to remake the stock ryobi hose attachment thread into the flexible hose so the rigid mount out the back of the saw was maintained. I'm also a little disappointed the hose adapter doesn't include the stock ryobi diameter that works with other ryobi dust collection, now I have to buy more adapters to use my existing equipment.

I've been looking to improve the terrible dust collection on my Ryobi mitre saw for ages and came across Shop Nation. My actual model is a UK battery version (RMS18254X-0) which wasn't listed as being compatible, but I took a gamble and ordered the TS-103 version because they both have a 10" blade. Delighted to say that it fitted perfectly and the difference in dust collection is amazing - even using my small shop vac! It looks to have cut down the dust by at least 80% which is very impressive. Super happy, thanks very much!
