This listing is for the digital plans for the "Mega Table Saw Workbench" designed by Travis from the Shop Nation YouTube channel. These plans are ridiculously detailed (169 pages) and is an approachable project for just about anyone! This specific workbench has an integrated jobsite table saw plus a TON of other features that are sure to increase your garage shop efficiency! The design combines your table saw with a general workbench, assembly table, router table, and utility hub.
The design is also modular in nature so customizing to fit your exact needs is very easy. The workbench measures 88" long by 48" wide by 36.5" tall. The standard design is intended for the most popular jobsite table saw, the DeWalt DWE7491RS - but you can easily accommodate ANY JOBSITE TABLE SAW. There is even a special provision for the SawStop JSS (Jobsite Saw).
The approximate cost for building the workbench as designed with all of the bells & whistles is ~$1900 (this will of course vary for everyone) but the 169 page (!) plans are broken down into many smaller sections with individual materials lists so you can build this over a longer span of time if needed.

I am by no means an experienced wood worker, novice at best. I took on this project because I am a bee keeper and I need a better assembly are for the hive components I cobble together, I needed a better spot for my table saw, I need better storage, and I wanted to learn how to correctly make cabinet drawers. The plans are supper detailed and easy to follow. The purchase list makes getting the correct materials incredibly easy. I started working on this in October of 24 and finished on march 14th 2025. I only get about 3 to four hours a week to work on it and again I am a novice. I was able to modify and omit areas of the plans to fit my purpose easily as well. You may be able to see that I have a supper old table saw that doesn’t fit in the right orientation, but I use it more like a radial arm saw for what I do. Being able to omit the two side tables made a more functional design for me. I learned a ton on this project and now I feel I have a fundamental base to make some custom storage in my own small work shop. Overall excellent work on the design and on the extremely detailed plans. Thank you
So far so good, the instructions are adequate for even a lame non-woodworker like Myself can handle it!
Fantastic plans - I added a dog-matrix on a 1” ply melamine worktop for extra versatility & an auto cable reel instead of a socket. Other than that the pans worked very well indeed (the 4 casters are an excellent choice but definitely beef up their plywood mount points). The accompanying videos were excellent too. Btw , it takes ages & lots of money to make as per the full plans, but well worth it !!
I have only purchased two product from your store so far. The prices seem reasonable. As far as the downloaded plans I have not built the workbench yet but when I do I will share photos. The new dust collection for my bosch miter saw is much better then the 1st one I bought from you. With the hose running up the arm it has much better clearance. I look forward to seeing what new products you come up with.

Good detail
I like the plans.
Overall, instructions were fantastic and easy to read. Very straight and to the point. A few issues I am working thru. Saw Side boxes - it said you can now secure the tops, but how? The box is to small to fit a drill and the same goes for securing them to the bottom frame. The router bit drawers, it says to install the drawer fronts but doesn't get specific on the router bit drawers. Only complaints about this whole build. Still working to complete, but absolutely love it!
Took me about 2 months off and on to build this bench. This was my first big project of this scale and the plans helped out immensely. The 169 page "book" is broken down into sections so you can work on what you want when the frame is done. I chose to skip around a bit as I got the hardware here and there. I have the router dust collection mounted underneath the top for the router insert at a later date. I did choose to use the torsion top as I will be getting a sawstop later this year.
This bench really has a lot of features packed into a modest footprint. The overall design is beautiful. Looking forward to building it soon.

The plans came in an email immediately after purchase, which I quickly decided to print out on my home printer and organize into a 3 ring binder (woodworkers are an OCD bunch!). I should mention, however that it is not necessary to print the plans out, and I am using both the PDF and printed version to plan my build. The plans are incredibly detailed, right down to exactly what items you may want to purchase in case you want to build an exact copy. Very happy and impressed with this product!

Thorough plans that describe each step pre... Thorough plans that describe each step pretty well. Halfway through the build and so far it is going really well. Bonus that there are videos available for a very similar workbench that will give even more tips for success!
