I installed the dust boot and the hose adapter first; then cut a hole in the side of my dust collection cabine. Then installed a Rockler 2" to 4" blast gate and ran it to the other 4" port on my Jet big dust collector. I tried to send you pictures, but i wasn't able to send them. I think i could send them if i have your email address. Love your produt!!!

Seems to work ok but the suction of my very old rigid shop vac sucks in the flaps (collapses them). I have to relieve the suction by slightly disconnecting the hose. Kinda janky.

My miter saw is one of the biggest dust makers in my shop. I only put the adapter on my saw and did a couple of test cuts but the volume of dust generated was exponentially reduced!

Loved the look of this. It would cut out the du a t. Only problem so far I don't have the correct fitting to attach to my shop vac. Secondly there are no instrjction for install and a list of fitting required to attach would have helped. But so far I am happy.

Excellent instructions and a very good fit to my DW708. My ShopVac has a larger hose but the transition coupler included in the kit fits perfectly. The locking lugs twist into a very secure fit, no tape or clamps required. It appears that 90-95% of the sawdust is caught.

Easy installation. Perfect fit. Does an excellent job on cuts the are “one board” thick. When I stack 3-4 boards to cut at the same time, dust collection is significantly diminished. Light amounts of dust spread across the saw and wood being cut.
It is still worth the money.

Order and delivery went as usual. Installation did not go so well. None of the holes on my DW708 matched the holes in the dust chute you provided. I guess I have an older model. I had to drill and tap a couple of holes in my blade guard.
Installation instructions were totally insufficient. In fact, there were none. I attempted to watch the Youtube video but could not get past the ads for other totally unrelated products. A simple picture diagram would have sufficed.
Overall, the product performs as expected.

The installation was simple and stright forward. Took less than 15 minutes. The image shows how perfect it fit on my old 708 model saw. The video shows how concentrated the saw dust becomes at the vacuum port. This is so much better than any of the purchased or home brew solutions I have tried. Customer service is great as I transposed some numbers and initially ordered the part for a 780. They accepted the return and sent the correct part for the 708 quickly.

The chute is well designed and appears to be very strong. Time will tell how durable it is over it's lifetime, however the reason I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think there should be some kind of bracket for the hose to mount to in the back of the saw. I understand that not everyone will want the hose to exit at the bottom, but I worry that the weight of the hose will fatigue the material if not supported in some way.

The attachment went on easily after looking at the video. I hooked it up to my 15 gallon shopvac and cut up a ton of scrap for disposal, probably 50 passes. I used all the angles with no trouble from the hose going under the motor. So, the saw functions perfectly and the dust collection was about 100% into the shopvac. Now I can finally fix a permanent position for this saw and connect it to my dust collection system.

The unit installed very easily and the videos provided were perfectly informative. The hose adapters are a little short for a solid fit to the hose on my vacuum, but a bit of tape fixes that.

To start, I bought the version 1 for my Bosch glider and and did not attempt to install it until today since I was installing the 708. Despite the disclaimer at the end of the install video, it does a fantastic job with the dust collection! Better than I had anticipated. Excited with the DeWalt results I installed the Bosch unit and I cannot understand how a hose would attach in any manner. The friction fit adapter just flops around on the connection. But, I did not lose faith and purchased version 2 for the Bosch. Maybe some of the version one parts can be backup? Right now, no good.

Part fit perfect on my type 4 saw. The picture showed the dust chute that I have on my type 4 so I took the chance and it fit perfectly.

Easy to install. Leaves just a few saw dust pieces and does a good job of catching the plume of sawdust that would otherwise spew out the back.
