The product I ordered arrived in a very reasonable timeframe and was easy to install. The installation video helped however installation was pretty self explanatory. A little dust is still visible but it is a substantial improvement over stock. Hands down.

Fantastic- havent tried bevel cuts that i read some mixed review on but just freakin cutting a 2x4 square - this thing picked up 98% of the dust.
Exceeded my expectations. Only minor complaint was having to put it together but Im sure that would have driven the price up and I think it was a smart trade-off.
Quality parts used - nice. 3D printed shoot had a little rough patch on the inside but it dint make any difference.

While it's better than stock, it leaves a lot to be desired. I only ever see it being used with straight cuts. For some reason it doesn't perform well at angles. Even on straight cuts it leaves a lot of dust behind. I have a 718. Lot of dust seems to blow out below the base. I have a 6hp shop vac connected with 2" hose. Plenty of suction for sure. Can't say for certain, but sure seems 3D printed.

Rubber dust catch (air floor director-for the lack of a better name) was cut over half way through in the first cut of a 4x4 piece of lumber. It would have been nice to be notified of potential problems when cutting larger materials such as 4x4's. The product looks and feels well produced and the install was easy and no problem with that just the fact that i only got one cut out of it.

Works as advertised. Greatly reduces dust by about 95%. Only downsides were 1) Hose very hard to thread onto adapters but after great struggle got it and (2) I had to remove my zero-clearance fence as it prevents the rubber collector flap from doing it’s job. This was the biggest disappointment, but probably worth the sacrifice for the dust collection. I can do fine cuts on my table saw.

I do have one concern, the unit, while sturdy is very brittle and I wonder if it will hold up over time. We’ll see.

I am extremely disappointed with the product since the dust extraction kit never arrived. I tried to contact your customer support about 10 days ago and was basically told to stop complaining and you will get it when you get it. I did get the extension hose but I have nothing to connect it too! Why don't you fulfill the order before you ask for a review. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

It does a nice job. I had to get a longer hose. The one provided was only 5” compressed. I need a 20” hose extended. While changing the hose, I ordered a little larger diameter hose as well, so now, this thing really sucks!

Easy mount. Works much better than the original. I have a 718 model. It has a bolt holding the original tube in place. But the bolt is not accessible from the outside. I had to chisel the old tube out and then unscrew the bolt from the back. Challenging

Had to return the DeWalt 718 and reorder the DeWalt 708 dust collector, my Mistake. When I got the 708 there were a few modifications that had to be made for it to fit my particular 708 model. I got it on and it works pretty good.

Love it. Although it’s not perfect I didn’t expect it to be. It’s greatly reduced the mess of my Dewalt sliding compound mitre saw. However when cutting thicker wider boards that I need to use the maximum capacity of the saw I cut through the skirt. Perhaps that’s why they include a spare. Not a fault of the product I was just unaware. Fortunately I have plenty of material to replace it with.

I wasn't sure it would fit my middle aged DW718 as the picture of the product didn't match my saw exactly but given the popularity I put my trust in shop nation and what a game changer this is! I saw the difference immediately and couldn't be happier with my purchase. I will note I forgot to turn on the shop vac during one of the cuts so the dust in the pic is classic operator error.

Installed on DW718 this weekend. Fit and finish look good. The video instructions through the QR code link was not for a DW 718. Eventually figured it out though. Got the saw hooked up to Ridgid wet/dry vacuum for now. We’ll be putting the new setup through its paces this week.

Fitment was good, but im a trim carpenter so I use my saw on jobsites not in a shop. I jave the dewalt 718. When not using a vacuum it shoots the sawdust right at your face. Also the flexible runner piece has already ripped off after 2 weeks of use. But when vac is hooked up it's works well.

Love it! Directions for the installation were ambiguous. I tried to log onto the support site and I wasn't able to.
I listened to the description and "FINALY" figured it out, The instructions for the installation were not for the DW 718, there were no pictures to assist, and I had to remove the blade to be able remove the factory blade guard.
To be honest, you failed me! You should be embarrassed to charge me (the customer) for not providing the necessary instructions.

Fit up was simple for my older Dewlat DW718 sliding miter saw. Installed in 15 minutes. I hooked it to a dewalt shop vac. Significantly less dust and chips on my miter station. Its not zero but I can say I dont get covered in dust when I use the saw anymore.

The moment it was attached, dust just disappeared when cutting. Great product! The reason for only 4 stars is that one small piece of wood kicked up and hit it…. Breaking a piece off. Luckily a little JB Weld got it back together. Other than that, awesome product!
