Drastically improve the dust collection on your Delta Cruzer Miter Saw with this 3D Printed dust chute. It requires NO modification of the saw and bolts in the exact same spot as the stock dust chute.
NOTE: This solution is designed SPECIFICALLY for the Delta Cruzer models 26-2241 & 26-2251. It will also fit the Ridgid models R4251 & R4241 but there is a separate listing for the Ridgid version.
Dust Chute Benefits: - Massive improvement in dust collection with a standard shop vac (~100 CFM airflow) - Can be used in *most* mitered cuts without removal. Due to the saw's small size it cannot be used in full 45 degree bevel cuts...unfortunately - Allows clearance for most common lumber dimensions - Keeps your shop clean(er)!
This product includes:
(1) Dust Collection Chute Body (2) Flexible rubber flaps (4) Flap Mounting Screws (1) 2.5" OD Hose Adapter (1) Wall Guide Ring for dust collection hose (1) Install Card with QR Code for complete installation video

Factory dust chutes leave a gap right where the blade throws the most debris. Ours is engineered around the Delta Cruzer Miter Saw to close it and steer chips into your hose, so they stop ending up on the floor, the fence and in your lungs.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Which saws does it fit?
It's made specifically for the Delta Cruzer Miter Saw. Pick your model in the selector above to get the right fit.
Do I need a vacuum or dust collector?
Yes. The chute steers debris into your hose, so you'll need a shop vac or dust collector connected to it to get the full benefit.
How hard is it to install?
It's straightforward. It bolts into the same spot as the factory chute, with no cutting, drilling or modification to your saw. Most installs take a few minutes.
Can I go back to the factory chute?
Yes. Nothing on your saw is modified, so you can put the stock chute back on any time.
How much of a difference does it really make?
A big one. The chute closes the gap where factory chutes let the most debris escape, so far more chips end up in your vac instead of on the floor, the fence and in the air. Read what 305 woodworkers say in the reviews above.
I haven’t installed it yet. I’m building my mitre saw table this weekend. However, it looks and feels well made and should be a great addition to the mitre saw.
This is second chute I purchased the first worked ok for some time but then broke at the neck so I ordered a new one. Put it on the saw everything looked good. Started to make a test cut and not sure what happened! But it basically shattered into many pieces. A quick analysis tells me that the back edge of the chute caught on the back edge of the board being cut and as I pressed down the force snapped the chute and the pieces hit the blade pieces went everywhere. The board was knocked from my hand but only bruised. Then I questioned did I order the wrong part but invoice says 10” delta Cruz. So why was part so long that it interfered with wood being cut. I need a good dust chute for my saw but may have to look elsewhere.
When a repeat customer has repeat catastrophic failures on your pieces and reaches out looking for a warranty, at least tell them to F off. Ignoring them is never the right answer.

On the Delta Cruzer it does significantly collects more dust than the original parts that's why I gave high stars. The drawback is that you have to remove it to change the blade. If it was about another 1/8 inch wider around the blade it would be perfect. Also, when reinstalling it seems the screws are stripping.
Here are some photos of the dust the after making about 50 or more cuts at 90 and 45 degrees. Prior to adding the SN dust port you could hardily read the scales on the miter saw after making even a few cuts.
I am building a new shop and have my miter saw on a temporary mobile cart. I have a dedicated Rigid shop vac with automatic activation switch. I will incorporate the same set up when I complete my new work cabinets with built in miter saw setup.
Only drawback is I have to open the miter saw fence slightly to allow for the dust port to clear on sliding cuts, but that has not been any problem. Had to do that with factory port as well. The upgraded Cruzer has a better dust port that the original version but no where close to picking up what the SN port picks up. I highly recommend this upgrade and big shout out to Travis for taking the time to prefect this item.
It busted from a 1/2”x1-1/8” piece of cherry kickback. Make them out of better material as it seemed very brittle. Had to put my stock back on the saw.
Took a bit of a risk purchasing this, since I didn’t know if it was compatible with the newer version of the Delta Cruzer 12” sliding miter saw (Model No 26-2312). I’m happy to report that it fits perfectly and seems to be MUCH better than the stock dust chute. I have it connected to a simple dust collection system (Dustopper Pro connected to a Ridgid shop vac). SO satisfying seeing all the debris go through and into the cyclone system.
Considerably larger intake. Easy to install, just two screws. Works 100% better than standard dust collection. Included everything I needed and more. A++
I had purchased the dust collection for my Delta Cruzer and liked it. My fault I cut a small piece and it blew the back off( no fault of the piece). I put the factory piece back on and ordered a new one. Honestly I had no clue as to how much it worked until I put the new one on. I’m more careful cutting smaller pieces now but these do a fantastic job getting most of the sawdust
I had to modify the hose adapter to get my 2-1/2" hose to stay in the dust collector hose adapter. I have a Rigid shop vacuum and dust separator. When I connect it, the flap at the bottom would draw together and block dust collection. So I had a handle adapter that I use that allows me to reduce a little bit of suction. Now it performs much better.
Great fit and great quality with extra rubber replacement flaps!! Easy installation . Added an 1" 1/2 flex coupling onto my vacuum port with 1" 1/4 reducer adapter for my m18 milwaukee wet dry vac !!
It is the second one I bought because a piece of wood flew out the back and broke the Shute. My fault so I ordered a new one and it came very quickly and easy to put together.
I recently ordered a dust chute for my Delta Cruzer miter saw. Unfortunately, after the order was delivered, I realized the shipping address had defaulted to an old address from a previous purchase.
I contacted customer service to explain the situation and simply asked that, if the package was returned, I be notified and have it shipped to my current address.
Instead, I received the following response:
"Good morning, Brett. You’re right, I misread your email. You’re asking whether the order could be sent to the Fort Worth address if it’s returned to the store. I’m sorry, but the order has already shipped, so its shipping address can no longer be updated. I’m sorry for misunderstanding your request." — Lauren
As a small business owner myself, I understand that mistakes happen and that shipping issues can be frustrating for both customers and businesses. However, I also understand that great customer service isn't just about explaining what can't be done—it's about making an effort to find out what can be done.
I wasn't asking for the shipping address to be changed after shipment. I was simply asking for assistance if the package was returned.
A five-star customer experience, in my opinion, comes from taking that extra step to help a customer resolve an issue rather than simply apologizing and repeating a policy that doesn't address the actual request.
I believe this situation could have been handled much better with a little more attention, understanding, and willingness to help.
When I read that you had to install it with the blade already installed I didn't really know what a PITA it was going to be to install. You can't really see the screws when you are putting them in and you have to rely on "The Force" while you try to get them in blindly. It does improve dust collection but the trade off of not being able to change the blade without taking it off first and the loss of the ability to cut 45 degree bevels is a real drawback. I'll leave it on until I need to bevel cut it or change the blade, then I'll probably just go back to the stock dust collection chute. It really needs to be redesigned to keep the saw fully functional. Disappointing purchase
This is a simple plastic cnc fabricated item. I feel that the price is to high. The item could have a better description of installation and more details about how to make it work properly. Chinese products may have better installation and manuals i think

I wasn’t aware till after I received the chute that I would need a long extension for the star bit until I watched your installation video. I had to tape a bit to my quarter inch nut driver. Worked out fine. I haven’t attached my wet vac yet but can tell it does collect the sawdust better. I’m happy and so is my wife because there is less mess in the garage!
Purchased for 10" Delta Cruzer. Dust collection is good. Installation video is poor, too much marketing hype and too little detail of actual installation process. Hose connection fitting could be tighter on both the saw side and the hose side. Flexible flap was too short to utilized all 4 screws, was only able to secure flap with 2 screws. Installation video seems to indicated that you can't change saw blade with the dust collection chute in place. Would probably recommend but only when on sale. Regular price is too high for what you get.
I cut very small pieces of wood. Sometime when the piece I'm cutting will hit the blade, while still spinning, and hit the dust collecting system. Boom, crack in the dust collecting system. When I ordered my last unit for dust collecting I ordered two so if happens again I will have a standby.
