Factory dust chutes leave a gap right where the blade throws the most debris. Ours is engineered around the Bosch Axial Glide Miter Saw to close it and steer chips into your hose, so they stop ending up on the floor, the fence and in your lungs.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Which saws does it fit?
It's made specifically for the Bosch Axial Glide Miter Saw. Pick your model in the selector above to get the right fit.
Do I need a vacuum or dust collector?
Yes. The chute steers debris into your hose, so you'll need a shop vac or dust collector connected to it to get the full benefit.
How hard is it to install?
It's straightforward. It bolts into the same spot as the factory chute, with no cutting, drilling or modification to your saw. Most installs take a few minutes.
Can I go back to the factory chute?
Yes. Nothing on your saw is modified, so you can put the stock chute back on any time.
How much of a difference does it really make?
A big one. The chute closes the gap where factory chutes let the most debris escape, so far more chips end up in your vac instead of on the floor, the fence and in the air. Read what 2,476 woodworkers say in the reviews above.
Shipped quickly and was easy to install. Color blends nicely with saw and the hose screws onto attachments so it stays securely. Dramatically drops airborne dust levels. Happy with purchase
The modification improves dust collection remarkably. Installation though was very difficult for me due to the last screw to remove that hid behind the power cord on the existing dust chute metal component. There was no slack to get the screwdriver in there and I didn't do the cord any favors when finally getting the screw out. I just had to brute-force stretch the cable but I appreciate the Shop Nation team's suggestions. Also a little concerned about the zip tie solution for the exhaust tube. I don't like zip tying to the power cord so I 3D printed a standoff and attached it and the hose via a Velcro strap to the arm. Much more solid but still probably needs some refinement.
Your presentation of the need for an upgrade to your Shop Nation Dust Collection Upgrade System was convincing. I am impressed with the installation video and how easy it made the process of removing the old collection system and installing the new one. I am very pleased with my purchase because IT WORKS GREAT!!👍
Had a mikita 12 inch sliding saw. It was terrible, spent as much time cleaning as I did cutting.
Bought this bosch and installed the shop nation stuff before I made the first cut.
For narrow stock there is virtually no sawdust to clean, for wider stock there is a little mess but still very little compared to my old set up.
I love it but just one detractor. When you attach the hose to the power cord it creates a rub point on the vacuum hose with the extension glide. I bypassed that with a little block that kicks it out from the saw frame. 👀 Other than that it's performance is excellent. 👏
P.s. I retain any and all rights to the kick out block. LOL 😆

It doesn’t catch all, but it catches most. Well built and quality material. Installation fairly easy by watching video link. Only delay and/or issue I had, was hose adapter being black vs blue as ad and video indicate.
Works as advertised. Assembly was straightforward although you have to have a little patience as four of the screws (the 4 that were reused from the saw) would not thread into the block. I thought the holes were misaligned at first, but once I got a flashlight I noticed there were no threads in the holes. I took the screws and threaded the holes and it all came together. Really works great.
PS: The picture is after I cut 8 boards. Barely any sawdust at all. Great product.
Great idea the only drawback I see is the poor design of attaching tubing to the saw just zipping it to the ac cord is not enough and can’t handle the weight of the extraction hose you need to utilize the tow screws available to rigidly attach it other than that I am very happy and grateful. Thanks
Dust collection worked well, but on my first day of use a piece of material kicked back and the whole unit exploded into pieces. Not really a knock on the dust collection function, more on the quality and durability of material. The kick back was my fault and bad luck but I would have hoped the dust collector could withstand a little more inevitable shop abuse.
The installation video on YouTube made it simple, and I am pleased with the results. I will say that while cutting 4x4s or large material, the flexible chute bends in a way that throws sawdust laterally, but I think if I modify one of the 2 provided it should fix the issue. I definitely notice the increased dust management on smaller materials. Great product, great fit!
Easy to install. Collects most of the dust even without the vac hooked up. My only suggestion is to use metal grommets in the body to attach it to the saw. I used super glue on the screw threads.
This is my second dust collection chute from Shop Nation. I had bought one for my Dewalt 12" Miter saw and it worked so well i needed to get one for my Bosch 12" Glide saw when I decided to upgrade. Dust collection is a big upgrade from the standard supplied by the manufacturer. I needed to get an extension hose after the fact due to the setup I was using this for (poor planning on my part). So if you have a plan in place for the shop vac/dust extractor connection, make sure you have enough hose (or buy the extended hose at the same time).

Hey Gary, that part has actually been updated to the one shown with the internal thread! Here is a quick video: https://youtu.be/7xJpsc7V-cs
Totally broke apart. Rubber piece does go far enough in to hold it. A waste of money
Installed the shop nation dust chute, and increased dust collection by 85% from the stock dust collection. Dust hose routing is a little crude but works until I get a more permanent solution. Frank G
The instructions showed attaching the short hose to the power cord on the left side. I wanted to use my large dust collector instead. By routing the short hose over the arm, I added a 2.5 in. hose and a Magfitt connection.
The dust collection chute was so easy to install on my Bosch miter saw, thanks to the excellent video instructions. And more importantly, my saw now hardly throws out any sawdust when I make cuts. This product is outstanding.
Easy install. Tip: you’ll need to work around the power cord on the right side when removing the existing parts. Be mindful not to damage the cord. My Philips screwdriver is relatively new and the sides started to cuts into the sheathing. Easy to overlook if you don’t notice it.
Much better dust collection compared to stock.
From the time of looking at, buying, shipping and installation was a painless decision and a great product to add to my saw. I would easily say that my dust collection has increased by 80-90%. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
Overall, the dust collection on my saw is much better than before. Installation was straightforward, following the video instructions. The parts seem well made, so it should last. My only gripes are that the supplied zip-ties were inadequate to secure the hose in the position I wanted, and the outlet should have come with an elbow. It also didn't fit my hose, but nothing ever does, so I don't fault SN for that. I managed to make my own attachment with stronger zip-ties, and 3D printed an elbow that fits my hose better. I love this setup!
Works like a charm. Clean up is minimal, no more piles of sawdust on table and dust floating everywhere. Saw and vac are run through a Ortis vacuum switch.
Your dust collector adapters don't fit my vacuum adapters. However my vacuum does fit the bosch saw dust collector. You would think you would have the same connection as the original bosch saw. Vacuum DeWalt DWV010 l was told there's nothing you can do for me.I have to figure it out on my own.
Instructions easy to understand and follow. Once I removed the screws holding the old chute (difficult to remove) the new chute went on easily. Already in use 👍
