Well designed, it works great

Went on well. The rubber skirt could be 1/2 in longer which would pick up even more. Will be easy fix. Love that it is easily removable for angled cuts.

Fits great and was easy to install on my Bosch.

So I have version 1 of this kit. It’s a great kit but I had a piece of wood fly into it and destroy the chute. I purchased a new chute that when it came seemed more premium. The color of the piece was also a little different. When I saw they had version two I wondered if there was a big difference. This is marketed as an upgraded system. I pulled the entire gen 1 off the saw and compared all the parts. The chute is the exact same as the one I had before as well as the mounting mechanism. The only two pieces that I found different was the coupler that connect to the vacuum and the flexible hose. I feel the newer hose is more premium and heavy duty. The newer coupler allows the flexible hose from the chute to go inside the coupler instead of around which makes for better suction. It’s a minor upgrade but it is an upgrade. I’m still happy with my purchase as this is a great company selling a great upgrade to my saw.

After the installation it reduced the sawdust by about 80% I am very happy with the Bosch Axial Glide Miter Saw Dust Chute

This is a great product. If you cut slowly, it does indeed capture the vast majority of the dust. It is far superior to the stock dust chute, but then again, that in itself isn't saying much since it was basically worthless. I am very pleased with the purchase and recommend it to anyone with the Bosch miter saw.

Took them 6 business days to “ship” it then another week to deliver it. 16 days total. To me that’s too long. You claim 3 to 5 to ship then it took 6. “So sorry, we’ve been busy, a lot of orders” BS. But then another 7 to deliver? It just doesn’t take that long if you give a sht about customer service, sorry. 10 days tops!

Installation Issue – Phillips Screw Access Installation difficulty occurred at the final Phillips screw referenced in the instructional video. Electrical tape wrapped tightly over this screw: Severely restricted access to the screw head. Could not be shifted even a few millimeters. Concern raised that: Removing the tape may cause damage. Reinstallation could risk thread stripping due to limited access and alignment. 3. Vacuum System Performance Installed vacuum system captures nearly all sawdust, functioning effectively. The Bosch rubber chute directing sawdust generates a measured noise level of approximately: 90 dB at 3 feet, which requires the use of hearing protection. Noise level is higher than expected for long-duration use. 4. Documentation & Support Materials Instructional emails and videos are: Clear, informative, and professionally produced. Very helpful during installation. 5. Summary Product quality is strong and performance is generally excellent. Main issue relates to accessibility of the final Phillips screw due to tightly applied electrical tape. Noise output of the dust-collection chute is high enough to require hearing protection. Manufacturer communication and training materials are appreciated and effective.

It works really well, collecting most of the dust. I love it!

Installation went well. I only tried it out on a couple of cuts and it seems to work OK, but I still had some wood chips on the table. It’s certainly better than the Bosch one.

Disappointed with the Small Hose. Photos in adds and even this email clearly shows a Flexible Hose with approximately 2X Cross Sectional Area.. Dust Port fits well and installs easily. You should supply a Flexible Hose like shown in adds for the product.

It works better than the factory collector. Installation went well. I think it works well but is rather pricey.

The package arrived quickly and securely. There is a card with a link to video instructions that are concise and easily followed, it took about 20 minutes to install at a leisurely pace. The fit was absolutely perfect. This system is a huge improvement over the stock system, I am very glad I bought it. It performs better than I expected, these saws are notorious for creating dust, Does it get 100% of the dust? Not quite, probably ~90%. Money well spent!

I have it on a 12 inch saw it really did make a big difference on the sawdust. The only thing is is when you’re cutting 4 x 4‘s it has a tendency to get in the way. very easy to put on and it really does work very well. You just can’t have your cake and eat it too. You might say I have a plastic tied to the electrical cord which I think I’m going to try and make a metal bracket and bolted on so the suction hose is a little more supported

Very easy to install seams to catch all of of the dust.

I struggled to find a hose fitting to match the provided profile. Would be so much better if we could get the industry to standardize on fitting sizes. That said, the install was easy, the dust collection is significantly better than stock. I even reused the metal blade guard in the old fittings mount for a magnetic switch for my led shadow line light.

Easy assembly, dust collection improvement by 70 to 80%. Should have got this much sooner.

Instalation was very easy and it works very well.

The only issue is that the the lock on the zip ties broke, it's no big deal for me as I had some available to use. I don't use it very often so I don't have any pictures to show but can't wait to try it to see how it works. Thanks Tom

Followed the link to the video instructions and had the old one off and new one installed in about ten minutes. It is picking up almost all the chips - huge reduction in mess around the saw.

Very simple installation when following the included video. When using my 6 gal. Rigid shop vacuum and cyclone dust collector I have virtually no clean up after using my saw.

easy install. I hooked up to a shop vac. so I dont have to kick on big dust collection for every small cut I make . looks like my messy cut off area will be much cleaner .

Have wanted this for a while and just moved to a new shop and decided to finally purchase. I can say that after trying other diy hoods / fixes, that this product far surpassed my expectations. Amazing quality and does what it says it does. 10/10

My Bosch Saw had a separate metal plate on the right side of the saw mount that was apparently there to protect wiring. That metal plate could not be re-installed after the Gen II dust collector was installed on my machine. I have not yet operated thel machine to learn if the Gen II dust collector is any better than the collector and bag that came with the machine. It would have been nice if the hose fittings with the Gen II collector also accomodated use of the fabric bag that came with the machine.

Absolutely love the design, you made a great product. The dust chute however is not much better than the one I added off the internet. I am keeping the chute, but I think I will try to add a slightly “longer” piece of rubber to see if it picks up a little more dust.

So Worked OK for a little while and then I noticed cutting a 2 x 6 on edge I can’t do that because the shoot gets in the way when I to try to make a 45° bevel cut. And now it’s just blowing the saw dust out of the base of the saws cutting area. You can see it at the end of the cut. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

video instructions were excellent. This was a project I have been wanting to do for some time. So glad I did it. Has really helped with dust collection.

Made a huge difference over stock. After a dozen cuts there is barely any dust behind the saw. Highly recommend.

Fatigue broke the mounts to the saw. Replaced it because it works so well.

It’s not a good design can’t cut molding upright the shoe is in the way when cutting something that is 4” tall so it doesn’t work for me , I will be taking it off my saw

I've actually been using their original version of this for years until a knot blew out of a piece during a cut and broke it...so I got this updated version to replace it! Having the hose go up the side of the saw on this version does make the connections easier and seems to put less strain on the lower portion of the unit. If this one breaks due to some silly kickback/wood explosion issue, I'll buy a third one - they really are that useful.

Second version big improvement

Your product works amazing and looks nice on the machine. It was easy enough to install, but I wish there had been a little more attention given to the hose attachment. Maybe replace existing electrical cord clamps with a 3D version that will hold both the cord and the hose. That part of things seems a little wonky. Maybe even a longer hose that will better accept a vacuum hose that rises up from a vacuum on floor. Otherwise, great product I’m happy with it.

Watching the video for the installation was a big help while installing this dust collector. After installing it, I tried it out and with my Rigid vac hooked up to it and I was able to cut the wood with almost no sawdust left around the saw. I am very happy so with the dust collector so far.

So I wish I can go back and change my last review on this product. I or the wrong part that’s the reason why I didn’t fit, but I sent it back. Got a refund and ordered the one that fit putting it on took me all of five minutes, not even. Cleaned up my saw cut a piece of 2 x 4 and oh my God what a difference this product is amazing. I figured it would be from the design because the catches lower. The only thing I would do if it’s even possible is to put threadedmetal inserts where you screw everything in. So you don’t strip out the plastic just snug everything up go overpower it and you will love the difference. A++++++++++++++ product!!!!

a lot of improvements since the first model. I like that the skirt is screwed on. It seems like it will allow a deeper cut. Not perfect dust capture but better than anything else I have tried.

I've used your dust collection for a few years now, and I love it. A knot flew out and smashed into the dust collector, destroying the attachment to my miter saw. You don't realize how much sawdust there is until you break the dust collection you provide!! Thank you for having the insight to engineer your miter saw dust collection devices!!!!

Did not fit my saw tried to get it returned can I get anyone to reply to my email had to end up disputing it with the merchant services

Such a massive improvement to my miter dust collection, words can't describe how happy this makes my wife! Don't get me wrong, no miter saw will be 100% dust free but if you want a SIGNIFICANT improvement just buy it. It's so great I bought it twice... yes twice... for the same saw. I got a nasty kickback that broke my first one. I reached out to customer service and got a response in minutes! I sent in pictures of the damage, it didn't take long to realize it was beyond a replacement part or two. I quickly ordered another one (since there's no way my wife would let me use the miter without dust collection mine you) in the hopes of getting it fast so I could get back to my project. It was delivered in 2 days!!! Also they gave me a little discount as well! Talk about small businesses treating customers well. I could not be more pleased with both the product and customer service, in fact if it happened again I'd order a 3rd without hesitation.

This is a really top accessory greatly enhancing the Bosch dust extraction. Australian buyers – hassle free and fits perfectly straight out of the box for our model saw GCM12GDL (305mm) Arrived in a well-sealed box robust enough to handle international freight movements. Upon opening it was a delight to see the packaging was truly protective to prevent shipping rash. A delight in itself and showed me Shop Nation like, respect and back this product. They are obviously proud of it and I’m glad they are because that means I’m getting a quality product. Bosch should’ve done it this way. Well made with quality materials and fitted EXACTLY like the instructional video said it would. And, it does as they claim! Reduced my sawdust expulsion by at least 80%. I wish everything I purchased was this well made. Because of this purchase and my happiness with this company I’m going to look hard to see if my shed needs anymore of their products now…….. The product works good. The only probelm is a small piece of wood flew up amd cracked the end off of it when making a cut. Not as durable as I would expect.

Really well made and nice design. I wish there was a way to have the coupling point out to the side without just flopping around. Not a huge deal though. And as someone with a little OCD, I wish that coupler was the Bosch color like the picture shows. Mine is black. But, obviously, that has nothing to do with the performance which is great.

The hose provided is a bit short and causes tension when the saw is fully extended. Also the rubber flap makes a big gap when pressed up against the wood.

IT IS A major improvement over the original that came with the miter saw. It doesn't get 100% but that is understandable given the nature of a miter saw. It was definitely worth the money and I am very grateful to have it. I love the fact it hooks right up to my festool vacuum. I recommend you buy it!

Neither one of the end "adapters" work with my Hercules dust extractor. Customer Service is about as helpful as t!ts on a warthog. They just keep referring me to videos. NOT ONCE did they offer to make something to fit my dust extractor. I've had Etsy makers do this for my tools without hesitation, but they can't? What a terrible company. I won't recommend them to anyone and will in fact, discourage anyone from buying their garbage.

The dust collection unit works really well and was very straight forward to install. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone that wants better dust collection for their miter saw.

I watched Vince developing his prototype on his YouTube channel with great interest. I have tried every silly idea to try to keep from literally choking on massive dust generated by my Bosch mitre saw. Chutes. Gravity fed and vacuum assisted, collection boxes….nothing worked. This one works! I’d say that I’m collecting an unscientific 80%+ now which is easily a 1,000% improvement! Great job Vince! Bravo! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The dust collection add on catches most of the dust but it don’t catch all of it. It does get in the way of cutting a 4x4 when sliding the saw instead of chopping. Installation was not hard. I wish there were printed instructions instead of having to use YouTube. I would recommend to a friend to try.

Watched the video to install it and had very few problems. And it works great!

Followed the installation video and had no problems setting it up. I wish the new adaptors for dust hose connection would have included one that matched the OEM connection (since I already was set up to connect the dust collection that way).

Installation was easy and it fit perfect and best of all collects alot of dust.
